Picnic on the Rhine

We have just come in. It is 8.30pm on Wednesday night 6 September.

We met Wirt and Linda at the office in Loerrach and took them by train and tram to Basel SBB, the main railway station of Basel. They had not been by train and tram and wanted to learn the way.

We surprised them with a picnic tea! We sat on a bench next to the Rhine and watched the world go by - swimmers (brrrrr), kayak's, a large barge and of course people walking along the river. How very civilised! We just love spending time with Wirt and Linda. They're such fun to be with.
