The bonfire we enjoyed at a village celebration for Swiss National Day
Bernhard, Lorraine and Gaynor enjoying the warmth.
Had to include this photo. It's our train leaving Schopfheim, but the Bus is having a "Fahrerpause" displayed with a cup and saucer. Very cute indeed. These things really tickle my fancy!

I continue to live through you, and I enjoyed my trip to France!
I'm so bored.
Pat, What is "bored"? I haven't heard that word before?!! Come over and help me. We leave for Youth Camp Wednesday. Excuse me, I'm about to start making Anzac Biscuits (Cookies)!!
Oh I have plenty to do - just don't want to do it! I'll be right over!
curious as to the kinds of fireworks they sell?
Pamela, EVERYTHING!! Actually I didn't go and have a look. We have not been able to buy them like this in Australia for many, many years! But they are not available all the time. Only on special occasions.
Hi Gaynor
Looks like fun. I have just completed giving seminar on Borg and NT Wright - lots of fun and am reading Anderson on Theology for an Emerging Church. In between deal with work, family and all that stuff. Enjoyed your newsletter. Will get to visit you one day - your countryside definitely has the wow factor.
